Fiorenzo Dioni co-designed IDRA’s Giga Press and 5S injection unit, hardware for casting unusually large aluminium vehicle components. By reducing the number of separate parts and recycling casting cut-offs in the next cycle, the machine changes the physical manufacturing route for electric-car structures.
