MagRail retrofit magnetic-propulsion system

PolandEvidence: high confidenceChecked July 2026

Przemek Ben Paczek developed MagRail with the Nevomo team, combining a passive magnetic module under a wagon with an electromagnetic third rail on existing track. The retrofit hardware can move freight wagons without a locomotive, improving rail capacity without constructing entirely new maglev lines.
