Sabine Marcelis designed IKEA’s VARMBLIXT circular LED table/wall lamp, using its doughnut-shaped glass body as both a functional light source and a sculptural domestic object. IKEA calls the form iconic, retains the original lamp in its range, and is launching a smart colour-shifting version in 2026.
